Good to see you got on Mary and added some spice to our quiet blog. Sorry to hear of your eye issues and pray all goes well for you.
There has been a shower for dear Alicia, a trip to Clinton, Breakfast Club, MJ and Kathe going back to school, gorgeous gorgeous Chicago autumn weather and thanks for asking Mary but for me in Westmont a little bit of damp concrete and the need to sweep down the drain a few puddles of water in the basement but other areas esp where I practice were certainly hit pretty bad and then there were parts of Chicago declared a disaster area but nothing compared to watching CNN of course and those poor Texans...I digress
We hear now that ALL 11 Lennons and associated spouses etc(are not lucky or what???) will be at the wedding....we are getting pretty excited. We are evidently having another family photo taken. Pray for safe travel and some good times for all of us. We all promised each other NO POLITICS...a hiatus please for 3 days....we have a stun gun available to monitor this so yappers beware:)
My iphoto crashed folks and I lost a lot of photos especially ones taken in the last few weeks so I need to regroup and do something about moving the 8000photos I have in my system. Kathe tooks pics of the shower and I took several out in Clinton but most of mine got destroyed so the ones on the blog are it! I have been very busy with life and business here so thus the long gap of time. I wish others of you would learn the POWER BLOG code and get on to post your own HEADLINERS on this thing. If you want to do so, ask me to email you the instructions. It is easy.
The day is just too beautiful to sit here at the computer much longer so I am heading out to ride my bike or I might take an open top ride down to see my sister Kathe. I shall see but please let us all know how you are doing and we are excited to be hosting all of you in October for our own "Wedding Olympics" eating, visiting, goofing around and drinking that Tabor Hill (hint Fred and Beth) ( I bought a box of it last night ...it was on sale...)

Peg, Have you heard anything about Aunt Patti S. being in the hospital? Something about heart problems? Since I have been in Iowa for a week, did not get my emails, however an email, today from Mary Alice stated, "Patti back in the hospital again, but no heart damage done".Which leads me to believe that she was hospitalized during my absence. Just wondered if you had heard anything?
ReplyDeleteHad a wonderful visit while staying with Julie. She certainly is a most accomidating hostess. And she brought a lemon-meringue pie to my mom's to serve with our spagetti dinner, that was out of this world delicious. I hear that she is the "Clinton supplier" to the Chicago area suburbs, when it comes to gastronomical goodies. I felt so blessed to be able to enjoy her company. Love, B.
