Update. Mom sliced strawberries with it although some family members saw Dad chop nuts with it. We think it may be an antique.....If any of you see another, please call Kathe. She thinks a collection of these buggers might make her rich....we may try to get it on Antique Road Show.....

ReplyDeleteRegarding that potato masher, Peg. Tell Kathe yes it may be antique however kitchen implements rarely bring more than a couple of dollars because there are so many of them out there. So she wont get rich on it. I recently got the old churn down from the shelf that I used to churn butter in as a child, and took it to a" Pickers" kind of a gathering. I even churned some butter in it to take along for the luncheon after, and before going I looked it up on ebay for pricing. Its an old tin churn. There are dozens of them around still for sale.
