Happy Back

My back is coming back. What a month. Hurt my back at work and all hell broke loose. Facing big decisions about returning to work...when how what the hell happened!! I am hoping to face some business choices and work in a couple of weeks if there is a business to return to.
I had several wonderful nurses: Roseanne, Kathe, Joanne for two whole weeks and a loving and supportive family to help me survive and not feel so helpless. I cannot tell you how that has helped me heal so quickly. Today I went for a walk, last night took a bath alone and have been driving now since last Thursday. I say, where were you Joanne when I woke up this morning?

Enough about me: Kevin is now in Kuwait, Alicia ran a triathlon, Tom and Julie and Pat are heading out to Omaha to see Mike soon; Julie had a visit here in Chicago and Pat and MJ and Kathe and Joanne had a BBQ on Sat eve; Kathe and MJ back to school now;Roseanne carrying on with her downtown job (we heard she is going to be grandma again via...Kellene). Jo got me on facebook but I have not felt yet much like sitting at this computer but as winter comes on, I hope to join in more. Ed Lennon and Steve are the highlight of the Facebook as I see it; We are hoping to see Mary and Ed in October (do not worry about theswine flu Mary..the germ theory has been debunked). Pat and Mary Jo had their girls and hubbies in this weekend and it sounds like they were having a great time last I heard.
We are all gloriously enjoying the great weather and I am just hoping some of you let all know what your Labor Day Weekend looked like. I bet I have missed some birthdays but I did have other stuff on my mind. Have a great day everyone. peg

  1. Hi Everyone, Thanks Peg for all the news. I guess Facebook is the new mode of communication. I'm not ready for that format yet-if ever. But I do think it may be draining the energy off the Blog.

This will be quick. I am heading off for Buffalo, MN in about 3 hours for my annual retreat with the Jesuits! I am looking forward to it. I will be home later Thursday evening.

Then in less that 24 hours, we will head for the lake. Sue will close up her place on the 19th. Plan to be home on Monday night and head back to lake for our last time the week-end of 25th. So life is full here.

Have to share with all of you that we had a neatest surprise birthday party for Sue at the lake on the 5th. Cathy, the party girl was at her best and we actually pulled off a surprise party!!

I'm sure Mike, Julie and Tom and Pat had a great confab out at Mike and Nancy's last week-end.

Phil moves into his apartment in Schaumborg, Il on Sunday, Oct 4. We have to celebrate Nick's birthday, October 3. We hope to head to Julie's on Oct 7, to Chicago on the week-end and to Jo and Bob's on Monday, or so, and back to St. Paul Park on October 17. Then traveling should be over and life will settle down some.

    Must close. Love Mary C

Sounds like you have been busy again as usual. Yes, the whole crowd has moved to Facebook and Jo showed me how to get on..it is pretty simple and quite fascinating.
Please tell Phil to not be shy to meet up with us guys soon. Let us know his phone no soon and we will be in touch with him. Will he be doing the back to home every weekend.
Looking forward to your Chicago visit. Will Phil stay around for that? Let's plan something
