  2. I will try this one more time!1 Yes, I was the test comments as it blew out my long letter.
We met Peg/Kathie in Boston on Sat. morn. We did a Freedom Walk tour and when done, went to Union Oyster House for lunch. Great Bloody Mary, calamari, and chowder!! Girls wanted to head back to RI so we left Boston and came home. The girls went to bed. They got up and ready to head to Micheles (Steves wife) 40th B'Day party. It was great. Catered food, and open bar. Peg started on Margaritas and moved to wine. We pulled her home and while Kathie & Linda went to bed, Peg needed another bottle of wine!! I finally forced her to bed around midnight.
Lind & I got up Sun., made donut run while Linda made fruit special. Girls got up around 9:00, ate breakfast and went back to bed. MJ called and gave directions to our house. They got here about 1:30. Girls were up. Had a nice visit with MJ, sister, and friend. They left, girls ate and went back to bed!!! Anybody else see a pattern here?? They got up and we BBQ'd porterhouse steaks, baked tater and salad. More wine for Peg!! I crashed around 9:00 and left the ladies do what Lennons do best- talk about the one not around to defend himself-Me!!
I was up early today and girls got up around nine. Ate breakfast, no wine. We went to Newport and spent day there. Kathy is in bed and Peg is walking off heath bar ice cream cone. We leave in an hour to meet Steve and family for lobsters at Duffys. Two 1 1/2 # lobsters for $24!! Can't wait.
Will update rest of trip later.
    Love- Bro Ed

  3. After reading Ed's post, either He was doing the Lennon exaggeration on speed or We need to think about a family intervention. It sounds more like a College Bong party than a tour of the East. I prefer to think it is exaggeration. Hope Everyone is having fun and have a good trip. Love as usual, Bro Mike

  4. Edward, what a great, quick rundown on the family trip up your way. Sure enjoyed reading it. Have you ever considered taking up writing as an avocation in your retirement? Good job.
Kevin sure posted some interesting corn eating photos on his facebook page. Had to be Lennons as no one can extricate a platter of corn like that, but one trained at Mary Lennons elbow. Thanks for keeping the rest of us informed. B.

  5. Oh, almost forgot, Kevin also has a great photo of farm, at 559th Ave. off Highway 64.
Peg, you need to get on facebook.
Kevin has a gift for photography and captions. The one of you as "tongs in your mouth" is priceless. We want to know how many glasses of wine it took for that appearance????
    B.
