Kathe was asking that I share the bad news....Brett has been ordered to stay another week at his post. He and she are both very bewildered by this news and we all know how distressing this is for all of us...We do not know what is next..Please keep him in your prayers due to the fact that as the news is stating, things are very bad there and getting worse. We hear he is extremely fatigued and our prayers I am sure will give him strength.
I do not have much time to say much more other than we had a great visit with Fred Beth and Family. Julie and Bev are due in this weekend. We will stay in touch with any further news. Love p

Brett was in my mind all last week after hearing about the nine deaths-but I was hoping he was in a different province. Well, now we know. We pray fervently every night got his and Christian's safety- and for their comrades. And we pray for all you who are gripped wit worry.

ReplyDeletePat, Peg, Kathe, Julie, and Bev and I were at the Gary Saneise concert last night in which all the proceeds are used to send supplies to the troops. There were 10,000 tickets sold at $25 a ticked so that means $250,000 was raised. This is the 3rd year for this event. It was outdoors and it was a beautiful night.
Bonnie, Julie mentioned that she had heard from Kevin. In fact he was home for a few days. He is heading for Seattle, WA for a tour of duty. He left yesterday.
Mary and Ed, I am sure your are getting excited about your upcoming event. We are looking forward to our trip up north!
