Hello Everyone, What great pictures! this will be short. We are headed for the lake about 12;30 PM .Ed had a meeting this morning and I am still packing. We will come home next Friday sometime-depending on the weather. We will be home for a few days then.
I stayed up in Duluth and saw old friends this past Tuesday thru Thursday. Betty invited me to stay at her house. she had me invite my Bookers (book club members) over for coffee on Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday I went with her to a meeting at church (a group of ladies called Faith In Action) so I had a chance to see many old friends from St. Bens Parish. At noon, we went to a luncheon of the old St. Anthoony Parish which disbanded 28 years ago and these people meet twice a year, in May and December. That event was the reason I stayed in Duluth. After the luncheon, I caught a bus back to the Cities where Sue picked me up. I was beat, and was still recovering yesterday. Also had to be packing to go back to the lake. It is supposed to rain this afternoon and the weather is cool. Both will be going on this week-end at the lake. Must close. All is well here. Love, Mary C
