Julie's Birthday

Julie and Bev kept up an relentless pace of rounds to Costco, Sees, Traders Joe's, Hobby Lobby and fun was had by all. I tried to download photos for two days now but no cigar so I thought I would get onto the blog to at least write about it.
Fri night we hunkered down with a homemade meal and we lit the fireplace and tried to stay warm. Sat we tore around the joint as I said and by Sat night we were ready to rest again and stay inside. Sunday am Julie and I hit Mass and then headed over to Pat and MJ's home...they sponsored our first Movie "NITE" and they served snacks and an Iowa Choco birthday cake before Julie and Bev headed back home. We kept hoping Fred and Beth would make it in to see Julie but it just did not work out...Fred, did you guys get into town yet?
I got myself busy Tue renegotiating a better mortgage rate and catching up with office work...I ended up doing floor exercises instead of walking..Jo, just like you it is taking time to be able to walk regularly on hard surfaces after my ankle sprain..
I head up to Minneapolis for a seminar this weekend and always feel bad I cannot make time to see my dear sissy or niece but maybe in better weather, I can make plans to visit. Mary, am very excited about heading your way this summer..Anybody who can pick me up at the airport in Duluth and take me up to the CABINS, let's talk...Anyone else flying?? Keep in the loop.
Did any of you see the GENI family tree Dawn Lennon is creating online??
Hey, I gotta go serve my people....I am outta here...Love m

  1. Hello All! I would love more information on how to open the geneology which Dawn Lennon is putting together??? No, I did not know she had such a site. But I have no idea how to contact it.

Hope all of you are well. Thanks Peg for keeping this blog going.

It is sooooo cold these days. I've been working on taxes and the family 2008 budget. That keeps me inside. I have been getting out to go to Curves, Bible Study, Book Club, and church each day. Been reading Lonesome Dove-a story of the WILD WEST. the next book we read is a humorous book about Whats Wrong With My Neck by Nora Ephrem. I still have half of Lonesome Dove to read.

Saturday, Ed, Paul, Phil and Nick head up to Duluth to go to Chris's cabin where Chris and Matt will meet them and they will go ice fishing on the lake and have a men's overnight. Sue and Cathy will work with me on sorting photos during the day Saturday, and Izzy will be staying overnight with me or Sue. Deb want to go out to dinner to celebrate her mother's birthday. So that will be much of my week-end.

Love to all of you. I still need to get Julie's BD card ready to mail, so I need to move on. Love, Mary C

  2. Ok, Peg, when you put out a teaser, you need to follow up. So,this Geni thing about Dawn Lennon. Would this be the Dawn Lennon, daughter of John and Julie?who is 53 years old? Does she live in Arlington Heights, Ill. ?? That is the address of one of the 13 Dawn Lennons in the U.S. listed on People search. There is a very small photo of a Dawn Lennon on the Geni website but in order to open more information one has to join the website and create a password. How did you hear about it?
Please let Mary and I know.
I sure enjoyed seeing the photos on the blog of Brett and fellow comrades. He looks good. Maybe Kathe can fill us in with more details, such as whats with the rock stuffing in the rafters?
Thanks for keeping us informed. Bonnie
