Hello everyone. I know this is buried but hopefully some of you will see it. Julie called last night to tell me that Kevin suffered a grand mal seizure on a trip back to base. It happened yesterday I think. He of course was sent to the army hospital. He is concened about the consequences of this as it relates to his army career. So first of all prayers that he has no serious health issues. Normally, medication can control seizures. And, secondly, that whatever coomes of this as related to his career will be acceptable and life giving to him. That part will be in God's hands I believe.
Julie did not know as of yesterday where Kevin will be. I'm sure Peg will be on top of this very soon with a blog headlline.
We are well after our trip where we so totally received the generosity and hospitality of Pat and Mary Jo home and of Fred and Beth while we were in MI. It was hard getting caught up after 12 days away-but now seem to be and our life is full of committments the rest of this week. I have book club today, Bible group tomorrow morning, Thursday, Becky will be with her team in nearby Cottage Grove for playoffs, so Sue and I will try to go to the game. Ed has been very bust since getting home, working on his three jobs, and he, Guy and our Chris leave for retreat later Thursday; it lasts till Sunday! So you can see it is busy here.
Sun is out again this morning; we had it yesterday too afterat least two weeks of very gray days. I get energy when the sun shines.
Will close. Keep Kevin in your prayers. Love, Mary C.
