Julie just returned from Medical Associates. Kathe and Peggy accompanied her. Bev also showed up to give her support.
Ultra sound images located a large mass in the left breast. The right breast appeared normal, in spite of palpating of a small lump. Doctor Dixon scheduled a biopsy for next Tue. He was not prepared to give prognosis. Positive signs included a mass that was "flexible and moveable" and that she has no other symptoms. However, the nature of the cells remain unknown. It could go either way re malignant or non malignant. They stated Julie will go in on her own next week as it is a simple and quick pain free procedure. Within a week, biopsy result will be forthcoming.
We will keep everyone posted.
We plan to meet with Brian and Bev for lunch at Rastrellis and the Chicago girls will return home today.
Thanks for the information about Julie...thanks for being with her this morning. Enjoy your lunch...keep in touch. love, Jo

I'm testing to see if I can successfully leave a comment using a PC instead of an Apple product. It's been frustrating not to send my love to Julie via the blog. So: Julie, you stay in my prayers and I send you my love. And thank you, Peg and Kathe, for being there for Julie, as well thanks to Brian and Bev for being by her side. -Roseanne
