Talked with Jo for a while tonight and she was asking about our visit with Julie in Clinton over TDay...Kathe and I drove out there to have the day with Julie....We visited with Brian as well at Manny's. We were able to make time to go the the gravesite and Jo was wondering what it was looking like....Also wanted to make sure our nieces and nephews got their fix...ha ha ha ha....
Hoping to hear from Ed soon more about Linda....Kathe is looking at perhaps hip surgery?? not sure yet but she hurts right now....Nettie is leaving St. Charles to go live in Hawaii for a while to care for her auntie....Just wondering what everyone is planning for their Christmas....
Pat and MJ and I had bfast last Sunday .....Sat I got to join Roseanne downtown for our Christmas Carol in live theater and we even squeezed in a great meal...She loves her new digs and is happy about gaining about 10 hours a week (no long commuting)

Peg, thanks again for the update. In regard to Kathe and hip surgery, tell her to do it now, while she is young. Friend of mine had it done recently. He is my age and doing quite well, was walking with a cane in two weeks and swears the real secret is doing the exericizes and therapy religiously, after the surgery.
ReplyDeleteOur choir leader is about kathes age and she had it done two years ago, and is doing great. Never know that she had a hip problem. Again, stressing the post exercises is very important. Please let us know if she opts for surgery, Peg, so we can keep that prayer line going. Meanwhile, tell Kathe she is in our prayers for her current pain. Thanks and God Bless. B.
Peg, Almost forgot, to also post that our Sarah is graduating from Kennesaw State University, next tuesday, and we are so proud of her, as it has been a long three years, trying to raise two children alone, with all their school activities etc. and still attend classes. She deserves a lot of credit,for all her hard work and should be justly proud to graduate with honor. We are celebrating with a party on the 17th at Thomas and Jans place, and I know that she would love, just a card with good wishes from any of the family.
