Monday Eve Go Bears

There you go...I know nothing about football but all I did was mention the Bears and here you are!
Well, they are the upcoming winners, just so you know...
My favorite things today: I chatted with Jo Smith, I drove safely to and from work in snow and sleet and no accidents; I actually have work; Kathe and I spent a weekend doing so many fun things; I went for two walks in three days; Kathe and Roseanne and MJ had today off; I am reading Victor Frankl's book about being in a concentration camp and it made my life look good; I got a great Xmas letter from Fred and Beth; my car works, my hair has not fallen out and I have found a way to handle my beard; :) Trader Joe's has the best pesto tortellino; I am admitting to being a TV addict....so stone me; They (Alicia and Norb) have a new baby coming our way in two months and we are all excited; I got a role in my Bad Actor's Club this weekend; I loaded my new Skype (but have been bad and not used it yet..sorry Mike and Tom and Pat); Pat thanks for checking up on me and I have no more back pain.....all the best to Brett Perry on his birthday today and thank you MLK for showing perseverance of which I have little..I hope you are all well, healing, healthy or thinking about becoming healthy (try chiropractic...just saying ) Love...sissy P

  2. Peg, I really love your blog remarks and am feeling better to know that Im not the only one fighting the "beard thing"
It seems like Mary and I are the only ones reading this blog, tho. Or at least only ones willing to make remarks on it.
Regarding tv addictions, I qualify perhaps for that also, however, since I dont have cable, I watch mostly public tv, like FRONTLINE, NOVA, MASTERPIECE THEATRE, ETC. I go traveling every friday nite with Rick Steeves on his many tours of countries abroad, knowing I wont make it to any of those places.
Sure glad we have a family historian like yourself who keep up on family news. Your mama would be proud of that, since her letters were the way we did it years past. I recently came across a pile of the old letters from mom and dad, that I had forgotten that I had kept, so spent a couple of hours reading thru them. Memories abounding!
One of my latest watercolor projects is to try to do one of the ole farm house. I may have the only photograph, of the house, taken in the 60's when you were about 15, before the addition was built.
You are in the pic shooting baskets at the time.
I am sure that when the Rucinski baby arrives, she will be doted on by all the aunties in chicagoland. I know Im excited to meet Alicia and Norbs little girl. We know there will be lots of pictures. Fun, Fun,

Good to hear all is going well for you, these days. Love to all, B.
