Mary and Ed Visit

Pat and MJ hosted Mary and Ed this Fri and Sat and Sun. Sat pm they headed to my home and we met with Phil and Roseanne as well. Kathe has been sick in bed with acute bronchitis hacking thingie and she was visited by various ones of us but M and Ed did not get to see her. It was so great to see Phil as he has just moved into town. His home did not sell in Minneapolis so he is here on his own and goes back and forth every other weekend (is the plan)
Mary and Ed and we all went out to our pub we love called Anyways. They visited around the table before and after and it was jolly good fun. They are heading out to be with Jo and Bob, actually as of Monday morning so we will wait to see what they did there. Julie was their first and last stop as they tour the area before winter sets in.
They both look wonderful and kept up with our lively discussions and I swear they have a better social life than any of us "worker bees"
I start adjusting two hours a week next week. Will see how that goes. Am able to do my own laundry and shopping now and my sisters no longer comes to give me my baths!! Ha ha missing that!!!
Love for now. p

  1. Peg, I had no idea your injury was so severe that you are still recovering. Have you thought about just retiring from the business? Bummer that you have been out of commission for so long. How exciting to hear that Alicia and Norb will be living closer to you. I sure love Facebook for all the news of the family it brings. Sometimes forget to check in here at the Blog to see whats a going on.
You need to get Kathe and Roseanne to throw on some info about their lives. And why are we never hearing from Patrick much anymore??
Dont you just love that Steven is showing his face and those precious children on Facebook. I bet if Mary ever got on it, she would love it.
Well, Im happy to report my roof leak is fixed, at last. One must be grateful for small milestones like that, in the face of all the flooding and rain in our area as of late.
Looking forward to having Jackson over on sat. so we can carve pumpkins together.
Emma and Sarah will be attending the Crystal Ball, a huge annual fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation to which Emma was one of 6 children asked to represent the children, affected by the disease and to speak at the dinner. So she and Sarah had to go ball gown shopping.Emma's arthritis is doing quite well this year, only she does tire easily after her treatments.
Ginny recently ran a 5 K race called the Ginny Jog, here in Roswell, so she and Jeremy were down overnight. Had her picture taken with the mayor of Roswell, after the race. It was to benefit Alzheimers.
Let us know how being back to work gos, Peg.
