Well that went through. I did a preview on it and then it went. We'll see. Have tried several times to post and it kept refusing to post it. We are doing ok here. Paul is living with us temporarily while his fractured fibia heals. He is on crutches-which is exhausting- and with the diabetes that extra effort can lead to lows, so it is just safer to be here. Also, trying to lock doors etc with one leg and a crutch is also not safe. So he agreed to come here until he is safer to be alone. He also told us Friday that lay-offs are in the wind at work-so pray he keeps his job and his insurance if it be God's will for him.
Life continues to be very busy here. Ed is driving Paul to and from work everyday-about a 40 minute round trip. We eat our supper and then Paul eats when he gets home after 6:30. So our routine is definitely different.
I am struggling to get my book-club selection read: Three Cups of Tea. I read the book two years ago but do not remember the details. Tomorrow afternoon, I attend a Bread For The Wprld workshop. Lent starts Wednesday and we have a parish mission on March 1,2,3,and 4. We are asked to provide hospitality Monday morning and Tuesday evening. We are canceling Bible Group for next two Wednesdays and this Tuesday I do not have to go to Oltman Junior High. So that is some give. Last week-end, we went to see Slumdog Millionaire. It was good-but heavy, too. The reality of survival for the poor is very harsh. Hope all of you are well. It has been fun seeing all the folks from St. Louis. And Kathe on live screen!! I must work on taxes today-gathering info for Ed on medical expenses and charity donations. Started yesterday afternoon-not quite half completed. So I must mosey on. Love, Mary C
