Mary Jo, Pat and Peg had a great time in St. Louis (Actually St. Charles & Lake St. Louis). Nettie hosted us on Friday evening providing food and drink at a pleasant motel in St. Charles. We were up past midnight having great conversation and lots of laughs.
Jo & Bob hosted us on Saturday afternoon, and then finally Ann & Joe invited us to their home on Saturday evening for Tacos. We then had a Video Conference with Mary, Ed, and Sue Fleege in Minnesota and Kathe back in Illinois.
Finally on Sunday morning after Mass we met Jo & Bob for breakfast before heading home. I will post a few pictures and hopefully a short video of our visit at Jo & Bobs. I assume Peg will add a post and more pictures shortly. Love to all, Pat

ReplyDeleteVisit the family blog. I was able to post a short video and a couple of pictures from our St. Louis trip. Bye for now. Love, Pat
Sure enjoyed seeing all the fun you all were having in St.Louis, and it was good to see Ann and Joe and the little ones, along with Kara. I am so grateful Patrick and Peg for your doing all this posting for all of us to enjoy. Wasnt able to download the "Cake in the kitchen" video, as it still comes in bits and snatches, so not audible, but it looked like Peg was doing a Vanna White kind of ad for that, was it red velvet cake, that I presume Mary jo brought. Good to see Bob's face next to Jo. He looks like he has lost weight since the last time I saw him.(Joes graduation from Wash.U. ) Peg, it looks like you have lost some weight also. Must be all that singing!!!Right??
ReplyDeleteSure would like to hear more about your singing. Sarah said that the Chicago group of Women barbershoppers won 1st place at International this year. Sarahs group, SONG OF ATLANTA, came in 6th place internationally. Is your group barbershop harmony? She is in a newly formed quartet with the barbershoppers and really enjoying that. If you have checked out her photos on FACEBOOK, you will see her dripping in red sequins or in her pirate costume.
So nice to see the St Louie contingency of Lennons all alive and well. Thanks for sharing. Love Bonnie
