Our family tried to access it at Cathy's house Saturday, but it hadn't come through yet- probably hung up in the service provider on the web mail. We attempted to create a video message to Christina. We don't know yet if it worked.
Two blogs before this one, I wrote a second comment-wishing you all Christmas blessings etc., beneath Bonnie's message, but for somoe reason it posted at the bottom of the blog page. To see my "second" message, you have to access the comments, and then scroll down to the bottom of the screen to see it. Anyway, you all were thought about.
After four days of Christmas events, Ed and I are ready to rest. He is getting a nasty cold; and I just need some down time!
Our big surprise on Saturday at the family gathering was lthat the kids rented a luxury bar bus (like they rent for bachelor parties they tell me) and we rode around four hours from 4:30 to 8:30PM, and saw Christmas lights and Christmas displays. Cathy, our party girl has been wanting to do this fro several years. But it was totally a surprise. The kids watched movies, and the rest of us did the Lennon thing-EAT. Anyway, it was an experience.
Must go. Have bills to write, a washing to get through, and finances to figure out with the new ;year fast approaching-as well as Christmas cards to do.I will only accomplish one or two of those things in one day. I have committed to baby sitting all day Friday, and am on call to get the kids a few hours tomorrow while Phil paints his house. He is trying to get it ready for marketing.
