Hi All Thanks Jo for your thanks...it was good to see your sweet note. Thanks Jenny for letting us know about your family get together. Even though some of us will not be there, know we will be there in our hearts so have a great day and good on you guys!
This am is Breakfast Club so I have to leave soon to go meet Kathe and MJ and Pat. We are eating at the Crispy Waffle..sounds wild doesn't it?
I am going to post a couple more pics of the Happy Duluth Deal and then some from our wonderful homecoming party for Brett last weekened at Kathe's We have all been very very busy so no time for any of us to post information But what a crowd and excellent food (Brett's favorite: Giordannos ) and just for Brett of course we had our "fine wine" (wink wink Fred and Beth) Besides me and Kathe and Pat and MJ, Steve Perry, his mother and sister and husband and their daughter came over. Roseanne and Tom came in from Orland Park...I hope I have not forgetten anyone . If so, forgive me. Also, of course was Alicia and her fiance Norb, Karen came in from Rockford and of course Emily.
I will post a couple of cute pics taken in K backyard..It was a beautiful day and a wonderful feeling to see him walk up that driveway. He is spending time around town, and in Freeport and then leaves to meet Kevin for a Dave Mathews concert out West ...Our teachers are back at work now and very busy and Pat and I have conceded that with the slower economy we are enjoying our "reduced hours" (semi-retirement.....but Steve reminded me that with my hours I semi retired about 5 years ago....:) We have had our lull now after a good visit in August, but would love to hear how the rest of you are doing. We now officially know ALL Lennons will be in town for Oct wedding and Kathe is planning for a family picture to be taken to capture all the new gray hairs we have been gathering. Love to you all
