Nettie came and went

Hi all
Nettie had her weekend with me in Chitown. We pretty much stayed in from the cool weather. Roseanne came to the house and gave us both a massage. Pat and MJ had us over for a homemade lasagne meal an birthday cake. It was truly a great lazy weekend.
I am looking forward to spending time with Kathe and her gals on Sat doing some I think it is dress shopping...we are going to sit in big chairs and watch them as they try things on!
Roseanne and I had lunch in Hinsdale to celebrate her new job which begins April 28th. It is a great position but I will let her tell you all about it. She spend some time with Uvie in Pittsburgh last week and had some adorable pictures to show off!
I am looking forward now to Joanne's visit in May. Jo you and Julie and I have a date already for some giant margueritas and Mexican food on the Fri night. I am sure the gang will help us celebrate Em's birthday the following night. or Sun not sure. Plan to put on 10 pounds and then pound the pavement with your walking shoes.
My new front desk receptionist seems to be learning more so I keep hoping I can spend a wee bit less time at the office. Today I really got to play so I just want more of THAT!
Ya'll add some spice to this..my life kind of looks boring..
Gonna go write Brett a quick note. Love to you all. maggie
PS I may add a photo we took this weekend at Pat and MJ's...

  1. This will be quick as I must get supper-like right now!!! Anyway I was talking to Julie on Sunday and again last night. Sh has a colonoscopy and esophogus check up this coming Friday. (I thought it was to have been yesterday which is why I called here last night.) Apparently, the doctors are concerned because she has lost 12 to 15 pounds in since her weigh in in November. So thay hope to eliminate any serious reason for this. Keep her in prayer and offer any emotional support that would help her. Bev will go with her to the hospital on Friday. She has a story to tell about her visit last week with a specialist who examined her. She was abit on the spunky side-our little sister!!! Will write again soon but thought all of you should know this. She had a serious bout with the flue two or three weeks ago and some of the issues may be flowint from that. Bye for now. Love, Mary C
