Roseanne blog

Roseanne said...

Hi, Family! I am finally online again. Our computer died an ignominious death a few weeks ago and I just bought a new one. Today, I discovered I will need to buy a new printer too. Yikes, things are falling apart at my house.
Both Tom and I are now unemployed and we are very busy looking for work anywhere in the country (Tom is inventory, warehouse, and logistics expert, I am training manager). So, if you have any contacts or leads, please pass them along. We were excited 2007 ended with all of its challenges and on Jan. 4th I was laid off. But we know God has a plan for us. I just wish, like all humans, I knew what it was already!
Hope everyone is doing well. It is fun to get on the blog and read about so many goings-on.
May this new year be filled with love and laughter and Spirit for all of you.
Lots of love, Roseanne
P.S. Elizabeth and Kellene are both pregnant and still waiting for Christian to touch base and give me an address for him.

  1. Roseanne, good to have you back. Sorry for your troubles, but am sure it will work out for the best. With the right attitude, it always does!
We are in Indian Rocks Beach, Fla. It is on gulf side. We can walk to beach and it is stone throw from where Lindas parents use to winter. Kids have fond memories of that. We came up from Key West, Key Largo area. Enjoyed Key West and its history. We visited mile marker O, or the start of Rt 1 north!
Fred, my new cis no more. A motorcyclist thought he could fly between our car and one I was passing. Not a good idea. He tore up our right side from passenger door back and then took off. We chased him and called 911. They caught him and we filed complaint. He was cited but my poor car has about $4-$6,000 in damage. He is uninsured. Other than that, weather has been great. We are getting first rain of trip today, but still in 70's. Sunday suppose to be cold but Patriots are playing so who cares!!!
We head to friends in Villages Sunday.
    Hope this finds everyone well.
    Love- Bro Ed

  2. Roseanne and Tom,
So sorry to here of your job situation. It must be stressful. We will keep you in our prayers as you begin the job search and will pray that everything works out for the best where ever that may bring you, it is where you are supposed to be.
It was nice to see photos of Brett and fellow soldiers making the best of the situation. Don't forget that today is his birthday. Had supper with Kathe on Tuesday night and she said he would appreciate an email anytime from family as that is about all he has time for. Even our packages he cannot get to as they keep him very busy.
We are having a family movie night this Saturday. Kathe and Peg and Julie will be in with her friend Bev. Will celebrate Julie's birhday also.
She had her appointment in Iowa City about her hearing and she is not yet a candidate for surgry as she still has some stimulation of the nerves in her ears. Until that goes she is not a candidate. they said it is just a matter of time so now needs to get a more powerful hearing aide. she seemed ok with that.
Hope all is well with eveyone.
    Love,, Mary Jo

  4. Peg, I tried the Geni.com address you gave, but my computer just says, NO PAGE FOUND.I was about to write to you e-mail so you would have my address, but I dont seem to have yours. Reminds me that the last time I sent something to you it bounced back.I hesitate to send my address on the blog. Certainly Roseanne has my e-mail address. Ask her, as Im sure she would also be interested in Dawns family tree. Bonnie
