Dear All,
Hearing from your sister Julie here in the big city of Westmont, Ill. Having a good time eating turkey,mom's dressing,and anything letover from from the big meal on Thrusday at Kathe's.Kathe kept the Champane,so guess who really wanted more than me! I admit I had 1 glass. Very good. Peggy is making tukey soup with leftover carcuss and turkey. We will do some errands this a.m. , then meet up with the other girls later this p.m. I hope to buy a xmas tree at Hobby Lobby this a.m. Peggy and Joanne both have one or two and are just the right size and the right price. Also have the lights on them, so this is a big step for me to even buy a tree as I just love Xmas. But I am trying to have a little spirit, It will look really nice by my patio door lit up.Yesterday Peggy and I went to the mall. I got a few sweatpants as Peggy says I dress too Farm and Fleet looking. We also walked the mall and justed had a nice day. Then it was off to See's Candies for our chocolate fix. Oh what fun that was! Then on next door to the health food store for some healthy stuff. Whose idea was it to put those two next door to each other?! We then came home for evening and watched t.v. Went to bed at 12.00. Late for me. Up today ready to roll and eat again. Kevin did call Thanksgiving Day. Does get to stay in Army , goes to Rangers school after holidays are over. He comes home Dec 15th thurJan 2nd hopefully I will get to see a few times. He likes to go a lot. He is now on meds for his seizuries and I am so happy. It is a worry. Tuesday, I go to Davenport to try to get a new ear mold made. Been trying every month this year,none has worked. Going to a new person who I hope can help me. When I get one that works, I am drinking that bottle of Campane myself! I can"t spell it right so I won't be drinking it right either! Peggy just got her first call for the day, so I better go get ready myself. Going to Hinsdale to pick up their fur coats, {Peggy's Roseanne's]. Then to meet Mary Jo and Pat? for Lunch supper. should be a fun day. Love to all. Glad you all are well and pray everyday for you all. Love, Julie

It was good to hear that Kevin is taking his Meds. and that his service career wont be jeapordized. They must know he is a soldier worth keeping because of his dedication and abilities. Good for him!!!I will keep him ,as well as Brett, in my prayers.
Also, if Roseanne has an address for Christian in N.C. it would be great to see that posted.
Just got a phone call from Sarah a few minutes ago, and she was in Central Park, NY enjoying the beauty of the trees and allowing the children to romp a bit and wear off some steam before they must board plane and fly home. She's having a wonderful time.She called yesterday from the Statue of Liberty,and the day before from the Macey's Parade.
Little Jackson marched into Tiffany's and placed 1.76 cents on the counter and asked the clerk, what have you got for this much, as I want to buy my mom a braclet. The clerk told him. A Tiffany shopping bag. He was quite dissapointed and later found a sparkling sequin along the street which he offered to Sarah and said, "This can be your diamond, Mom!"
