  2. Hey Peg, and all, sure wish I could have joined you for your Lennon reunion. Be sure to take lots of photos Peg, so the rest of us who cant be there can enjoy seeing you anyway.
Thought of you Peg, today when I heard about this fabulous new restaurant in the windy city. Its called TABLE FIFTY-TWO, opened by Art Smith, Oprah's long time cook of ten years. It is on 52 West Elm and you have to make reservations well in advance as it is so popular. I suppose it is pricey also, but it sure sounds like a fun place. They showed photos of it on Oprah's show today. No name out front, but in an old historic structure that predates the Chicago fire. Art Smith is apparently a renounded cook and I would suppose Oprah made him famous. His recipe for cheese bisquits also on the web site. Have a great weekend all together. Love Bonnie

  3. My hope too is that you all have a wonderful time together in Chicago and wished we could be there. We have so much going on here that it is hard to keep track of it all. We do ask that as you gather together and pray together to please lift up Father Gerald Gawronski, who is another son to us and was a classmate of our Michael, has a rapidly growing tumor that has penetrated his lung and a rib bone. He has a doctor appointment tomorrow but things look pretty bleak!!! Pray for a miracle as that is was seems to be the consenses right now. Surgery could happen as early as Friday. Our good friend, Leonardo will be staying here tonight and then return to stay with us on Sunday & Monday nights. We are looking forward to Mary & Ed staying here starting Wednesday night. Weather here is great, leaves changing color and falling from the trees right now. A bunch of women are gathering here for an Opus Dei circle meeting and I am trying to finish my Oct. 14th homily. May God bless you all and may you all have a wonderful time together. Love, Deacon Joe
