I forgot my camera at the office so no photos But it was a HUGE outdoor celebration. We talked with Mary Alice, CarolAnn, Ray was there, all the Streicher kids of course, They catered a bunch of BBQ food and the booze flowed effortlessly (how naughty) We saw Julie Lennon and all her and Johnny Lennons' kids and grandkids and associated peoples....The weather was soooo fantastic and well, what can I say??? Karen also came with Mary Jo and Pat and after Pat ate about a hundred pounds of food, he had to head over to Giordannos to meet with some of MJ family...We did not know if Pat lived through the evening....Sorry I have no pics.... seems Patty Streicher will be joining us on the Friday night spaghetti meal and she is bringing some red wine. Hey, Fred...wish you were coming to help me polish it off...Let us know how your Becky is doing....Love for now meg
where are you bums????
Peg, thanks for the update on the Stricher party. So glad to hear it was such a success and glad everyone who should have been there was there. Yes, I too wish I was there for the Friday night meal of the Lennon party to help you polish off the wine but this life of ours just won't allow it. Becky is doing fine as everything that is supposed to take place apparently has done so. They are looking forward to trying again!!! We are preparing for the arrival of Leonardo on Friday as he is staying with us about 4-nights. I have to tell you Mary & Ed, you guys will be sleeping in a bed that has slept many incredibly wonderful people - some I believe are even saints!!!! We literally move Leonardo out, change bedding, and then you guys will be moving in - and we are really looking forward to that!!! The weather here has been great - got some rain today as we needed it pretty badly. All the kids are doing great as home schooling is in full force and keeping everyone busy. I must close as Beth has supper ready. Hope you all have save trips and a wonderful time as you gather together that first weekend of October. We will be thinking a lot about you and keeping you all in prayer for safe jouneys and a joyfilled time. Love, Deacon Joe
