Brett on Saturday

  1. Hi everyone! Just a quick word of thanks for all the pictures of family. Brett looks very good and healthy, as did Kevin and Roseanne.

    All are in our prayers.

Would like to know just when Patty and Harry are celebrating their 50th? I want to send a card.

We are home since Sunday night. I got so cold at the lake that we thought we could sit at home in the house more comfortably that at the lake. It also bought me a half day longer to get things completed here at home before our next trip commences. We will go to Duluth on Thursday afternoon and have birthday supper with Matt and family; we'll drive tothe lake thurs night. On Friday, we'll close up Sue's place and on Saturday, Ed an I will close up our place for the winter.

This afternoon I have Book Club. We read Graham Green's, End of the Affair. He is really a Catholic writer and it will be interesting to see how my colleagues see the story since most are not Catholic. It was a hard book to read. HIs technique was masterful!!!

Tonight, at 6:30, I have a Social Justice meeting at church.

Right now, I have to get downstairs and get a grocery list together so I can shop after the book club this afternoon. So I must close.

Just be sure, Peg, to get me that date for Patty and Harry's celebration. Love, Mary C

  2. thanks again Peg, for such fabulous photos of family. Kathe with the siblings sure looked great.
So sorry to hear about Becky and Alberts loss. Im sure all our prayers are with them at this time.
If any of you Chicagoites, have a chance to see, THE WOMEN OF BREWSTER PLACE, Im sure you will love it. Laura got two free tickets to the premiere performance last week,at the Alliance theatre, and it was awesome. Sets, staging, music, costumes, everything was fabulous. Highly reccomend this musical.
Laura is busy, busy with her reflexology appts. She has some fascinating clients.
Havent talked to Joe since he got back to Brno, tried to call but didnt reach him. I think his school starts tomorrow. Love to all the Lennons. Bonnie
