Kathe and I had a great night Sun at an outdoor concert listening to Muddy Waters's three sons perform onstage at our Summer Festival. We were like two groupies at their feet and it was truly amazing talent! Nothing like heat, a summer night, and Blues in Chicago!! I just spoke with her and she is meeting her daughter Em for lunch and then we may head out to exercise somewhere....talked with Roseanne also this am..she is busy cleaning up her house and purging...Jo and I talked a long time this morning and we made some plans for her and Bob coming in for the Mary and Ed visit on the October 5-6-7 weekend. We understand Tom and Mike are going to make it over. Our little Chicago group intend to set up a Progressive Dinner with Designated Drivers so we can visit all three new homes and have a preplanned menu of several courses. Also, it appears the Streichers are having a 50th Wedding Anniversary party in September at Paula's home in Westmont. I do not know who will be invited to it, but Paula said they are for sure going to do something. I will keep you posted.
Bonnie, I appreciate your comments on the picture of Em...it is truly a stunning view outside Kathe's remember she also has a big pond-lake with ducks right to the left of where Emily is sitting. Julie is also very excited about her trip South to you guys also.
Pat and Mary Jo are busy painting and getting new carpeting put in this week and are starting to move stuff into the home...we are all excited about celebrating their move toward the end of July now...The weather has been outrageously great in Chicagoland lately hope it keeps up I am going to get my bicycles out and hopefully go for a long ride after I do my pedicure and manicure...life is rough......Love to you all.
