Our New Oswego Relatives

Kathe and I met up with Karen MJ and Pat in their new home right after closing. We looked over Karen's choices of colours for the new joint (very pretty!)..they are putting in new carpets and paintintg the place) before they move in and then we went over to Emmets' Pub on the Fox River and had aFish Fry...Okay, so I told them I would post some pictures..It is a truly gorgeous way west rural type place with cornfields right next to their home but they have giant mall one or two minutes away...very sweet. We already have T Giving booked at their home..
I have had a lazy weekend...took Friday off as one of my staff had to be out of town so I bought a new book and was laid back. This a m I meet up with Kathe and her girls at the outdoor farmers market and then a massage...for me..Let us all know what your Fourth of July is like and we esp want to hear from the EAst Coast soon....Wish we could all be there...Love m

  1. Hi everybody!
Hey, Peggy has just been put on
notice by Karen and me that she can no longer post pictures of us without our consent!! She can be dangerous with that camera,
    catching us in the most
    unflattering poses!
Pat and MJ's house is just lovely!
I hear we may be having a family
reunion the first weekend in October!
I believe Mary and Ed and Jo and Bob are coming for sure that weekend.
It sounds like Tom and Jan are
thinking about coming up then, and I'm sure Fred and Beth could zip across the lake to join us!
With Julie coming in and the other four of us already in here, that
would be 9 of us!! We just have
to nudge Mike and Nancy and Ed
    and Linda. Sounds great, don't
    you think?
    Soldier Update: You won't believe
    this story! Brett called the
other day and told me that his
    Commanding officer and 1st
    Sergeant (sp.?) called him over
and told him that his dad (that
would be Steve!) had died. Of course Brett was
    distraught beyond belief. As
    they began the process of
shipping him immediately back to the States, he looked down at the
paperwork and saw that they had
the wrong person!!! The name on
the paper was PAUL Perry, not
Brett Perry. (I told him that
    must have been more terrifying
than any of the enemy attacks his unit has had!!) The good news is that it was a mistake, but he was
    certainly put through a brief
    personal "hell". Not something
he should have to be experiencing
    at this point!! Otherwise, he's
    "hanging in there".
    Hope everybody has a wonderful
4th of July, and remember those
young men and women who are
putting their life on the line
for the freedom we will be
    celebrating that day.
    Keep in touch!
    Love and prayers, Kathe
    Keep the news coming in.
    Love and prayers, Kathe

  2. Pat and MaryJo, The place looks beautiful, how fun that Peg posted the photos. And cornfields nearby to boot// You cant get much more rural than that in Chicago, right?? Be sure to send your new address, perhaps private e-mail if you dont want to post it here. Hope you all have a great 4th together in the windy city. Love, B.
