  1. OK Patrick, What does "Limbo Pat" mean. You had that as title on your blog. Was that just a leftover from the night before?
    Just wanted to say "Good luck and God's blessings" with your move. Be sure to put your new address on the blog, after you move in.
    It has taken me this long to get Kathe's address. Had to call Julie today. Im looking forward to her visit down here for Kevins grad.Isnt he something, the way he describes with such detail, his army life. Wish I could get that kind of detail from Joseph about his life in Brno.
    Mary Jo and Pat, its too bad you werent looking for another house. My sister Carol just sold hers in Waukegan. She hopes to retire out west in the fall.She and Bob have already built a condo in a retirement community outside of Austin.
    We still have drought situation here, and have been doing rain dances hoping for precipitation.
    I just got involved in yet another musical production at our church. WEre doing JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT end
    of August.Im really not up to the coreography but they assured me that my voice in the chorus would be sufficient!! Fun, Fun. Love, Bonnie

  2. I figured I better get into this thing now as the next two weeks will be pretty busy. Yesterday I spent most of the day doing background checks on all the new volunteers working in the parish. A lot of paper work that really makes me scratch my head regarding its true value. Now that school is out for these grandchildren, they are keeping busy going to all kinds of summer programs. Meg Cousino is spending the weekend at Stubenville Youth Conference; a number of the Cousino's, Faraj's and Lennon's are attending different art training programs and some are volunteering at Catholic Radio. I tell you, there is never a dull moment. Beth is having her hair done on Wednesday in preparation for our trip to Ed & Linda's which we are really looking forward to. We plan to leave on Friday, immediately after the Holy Mass in which I will be deaconing with the Bishop at which four Mary, Mother of the Eucharist nuns will be making their final vows. They are an order of nuns that started with 3 nuns 10 years ago and has grown to 70 at various stages toward their final vows and 20 new gals joining this fall - one of the few thriving orders. We plan to return on July 5th. Then we have Nora's baptism on July 6th. On July 7th, I have to renew the wedding vows for a 50th wedding anniversary. Beth is getting her paperwork in order for hammertoe surgery Aug. 3rd. The weather here continues to be very nice although we could stand some rain. Hope all goes well with Pat & MJ's move - we know what those things are like but it is worth it if it is where you should be. Hope everyone is staying healthy and enjoying the summer. God bless you all. Love, Deacon Joe

  3. Just a quick note. I know Julie is to be in Chicago this week and will probably be looking at blog. Thanks Julie for the nice B'Day card and enclosed letter. It was great to hear from you and your plans for many trips. Enjoy!!
    We to are preparing for Fred & Beth. Sprucing up the house and boat, buying lots of food (we are Lennons!) and really looking forward to their visit. we will be going to Steves in-laws for annual 4th of July party and then Sunday out to sea to watch departing parade of tall ships. Followed by BBQ here with couple friends. Then we start hunting for best lobsters in N.E.!!
    Hope everyone is well out there in blogland!
    Love= Bro Ed
