I get to see Emily this Fri eve as her birthday was last weekend..I believe Kevin had a bday last month and I think little Chelasea has a birthday also this month!
Nettie and I spend a weekend in the Swisshotel in Chicago and attended the Adler Planetarium. If any of you have the chance to be in either place...both are fantastic...
I spoke to several of you on Mothers Day but wanted to know how all the other moms did on their day last week...As for me, I sure thought a lot about mom that day and probably share that with you all...sent her a mental bouquet and some extra prayers as Mass that day....
Fred and Beth spoke about their Mexico trip around Xmas...it just sounds great..Guadalupe I believe is the target...I will get back in touch soon with you about that F...
Gotta run to work.....Julie still plans to visit Kevin for graduation and then go with Tom to Florida..she works hard and deserves that...her boy Kevie will be graduating a week early from Officers Training. Do not forget his Blog.....XX m
Thanks to all for your birthday good wishes. Yes, I will celebrate my 72nd BD on May 20. We will be at the lake. Had family over for Mother's Day- all except the Duluth crew. We had a very nice time together, and Chris called. Will see if this can be entered before I spend too much time. Happy Birthday, Bonnie. At least Julie told me it is today-May 16. We go to lake tomorrow about 1:00 PM. Will drive to Duluth first and go to Becky's Choral Concert Thursday night. Then to lake until day after Memorial day. Will get home about12:30, May 29. Leave for Clinton on Thursday, May 31 and for St. Louis, Friday, June 1. Back to Clinton onTuesday June 5 and home to St. Paul Park on Thursday, June7. So life is busy.

Hi Peg-This is Mary before we leave today!!!I I would like to plan to drive into Chicago on the 5th if you are off work. See what we can of the houses and most of all have a visit. We would still plan to drive to Julie's Tues night as she has an appointment to see a neurologist in Davenport on Wednesday and would like to go with her. ReplyDeleteHapy belated birthday to Bonnie and a happy one to Mary on the 20th. Nice to send birthday wishes via email as I am so bad with snail mail Pat and I are very busy going throught 27 years of trash as Tom calls it and it is getting to look more and more like that. We have found an auction guy in Fulton that will take anything for a 20% cut. That has Pat willing to part with a few more things. What is left, we will have to put it all in storage as we cannot close on the new place until June 30. At least we have a place to hang our hat, Kathe's home, until then. The girls and their hubbies are coming home again this weekend to help us finish packing and to have a bonfire on Saturday night. Julie will be out to help and have hotdogs also. We are leaving in the morning for Ok. City. Becca is graduating from high school. Kara is going with us. Katie is coming back to spend a week with us before she starts her summer job. She just completed her first year of college.
Good to hear all the news from the family.. Hope someone has some plans coming up that will enable us to get together again...The Smith door is always open, you know.....
