  1. It seems everybody is too busy to post messages! Nothing exciting in New England. Did get letter from Mary C talking about trip to east this fall. Sue wants to see foliage. I e-mailed a response and invite to stay with us, but have not heard back. Are you out there Mary?? Steve & Michele are hosting Easter again this year. Looking forward to that. All kids doing good or at least not doing bad!!!
Business going full steam and usual problems with help. It seems to never change. All businesses in area are complaining about quality of people.
Linda and I have got into some bridge groups, and are enjoying playing cards again. Linda plays weekly and I do monthly.
Going to rehab twice a week. I had no idea the time and work it would take to get strength and movement back. Just to be able to close car door or pay tolls on bridges. Wow!
About all for now. Happy Easter to all. Love-Bro Ed

  2. Bro Ed, it is good to hear from you. Although it sounds like business for you is going full bore, your health limits you somewhat. Don't do anything stupid that results in bigger health issues later in life. We have been very busy here also having taken in the funeral in Milwaukee last week and now preparing for Holy Week. Last night, Kathe had a beautiful surprise birthday party for Mike's upcoming April birthday. Many of their friends were there including three priests and it was just a fun time by all. I will be involved in all the Holy Week activities at my assigned Parish and then Beth and I plan to attend the Orchestral Holy Mass at Assumption Grotto on Easter Sunday morning. We will return home around noon and host the family Easter meal - everyone is planning on being there so pray for good weather!!! Tim and family drove to West Virginia this weekend for their girls to compete in an Irish Dance contest. They are driving back home today - wow, to be young again!!! Ed, I got a letter from Mary too and wrote her back but haven't heard back from her. I think she said they wanted to spend a month at our place but don't know if that is before they come your way or after (this ought to get some response from Mary!!)!! Hope everyone is preparing to celebrate the greatest event in human history, the completion of our salvation!! May you all have a blessed and holy Easter.
