Chicago Weekend

Kathe and I started our weekend with a walk at a local indoor mall..then ribs at Omega. I had errands to do Sat and a flat tire to fix but then Kathe and I went to a movie Sat eve called Music and Lyrics. It was in a new theater here with seats and restaurand\t meals (SCHLOG).. I had so much butter on my hands they were like shiney shiney and wet...... I LOVED the movie....kathe was just okay with it.. On Sunday after Mass, I hit the couch and slept and read and slept and read and slept and read..I did indeed do some Pilates on the floor and then baCK TO READING and sleeping. Finally figured out why Fred's comments did not go on..but I think we fixed it...so please let me know when your comments do not show up...sometimes I have to fix a preference..I called Joanna and chatted...I go to St. Louis in two weeks to see Jo and Bob and Neds....The days are getting longer here and today was BLOODY Cold but it seemingly will get better.... We are looking forward to Kevin's website..we heard tht Brett is heading to Afghanistan....in April...just pray for our soldiers...I have only had a few emails from our newlyweds..and hope that you are all looking for the LIttle JOYS in each day....Lent begins this week so perhaps a good time to realize what we have instead of what we do not have...Love to you all....maggie b
