Kathe held a wonderful TDay meal. I am including a picture of the table she and Mary Jo set up. Anyone thinking of buying a Butterball from Jewel...well just do it! It was a great meal and we all added our own little touches. Mary Jo outdid herself with Mom's pumpkin pie recipe and Roseanne brought a Mincemeat pie from a great bakery.
Alicia and Norb joined Kathe, Roseanne, myself, Pat and Mary Jo of course and we had a beautiful sitdown meal looking out on Kathe's new little lake...Her own Lakehouse....haha.... We walked in one of the local forest preserves that afternoon as the sun was setting....she does live in a very rural like setting that has the best of the big city close by....
Today she is coming my way so we can walk around Oak Brook Mall with all its beautiful lighting and atmosphere. Of course we have all enoyed spectacular weather..it is in upper 50s and I have my machine set to tape Ed's granddaughter in the TLC show. Looks like it is on here at 9 PM tonight.. Gonna post the pics now. Love for today. m
