I fly in Fri and fly out Sat. pm So sorry Sue and Mary, I thought I would have more time. Next weekend Kathe moves into her new home and has commandeered her children to pitch in and help. Roseanne is helping her also I hear As for me, my good buddySharon is taking me on a road trip to Galena....for some celebration time.
When I have more time, I will post more photos. Pat, where are some of those Mary and Ed sent you????

  2. Hi Mary and Fred, glad you got on to this blog. It does seem hard to figure it out because it's different than other sign up procedures, and you assume the User Name is your display Name. Any simple name won't work because someone else has already used it.

Fred and Beth we will be praying that you have a Safe and spiritually up lifting Trip.

Hope others get on the blog. I may have some time to blog now that my client case load is little to nothing as I attempt to build a practice in the suburbs. Do pray that this happens eventually.

Mj & I are looking forward to living with Kathe and watching the voting returns on November 7th. It does appear the True God of love, compassion, and reason is still with us. Praise God for maybe saving our grandchildren from a lot of pain and suffering, (if it can be reversed of course).

With that hope all are healthy and happy. Peace & Love, Pat

  3. Fred, Peg has asked me not to make her blog a battle ground so I won't. I will just say the Catholic Church and especially the Muslim's will not take over our country.

Jesus wants us to do what true Chistians are called to do. Solve the real problems that promote hate and violence. Read what the Catholic Bishops are telling you to do.(Preemptive war is not the answer).

Our Pope knows he screwed up using a Muslim example of violenc in religion, when he had plenty of Christian examples he could have used.

Jesus reminds us over and over that Violence never solves problems. What do you understand Jesus to mean when he says turn the other cheek, and love your ememy and the stranger.

We do need to deal with violent people, but you don't threaten to kill them or their families to solve what are usually complex social injustice issues.

You are sounding very fearful and I might say a bit paranoid. Where is the hope filled Jesus in your life?

Read more of what St. Francis has to say. He was a veteran of a war, maybe had you been in a war you could have been another St. Joseph teaching about the path away from violence and toward Christian peace and love. "You will know they are Christians by their love for one another."

You may have one more response if you like on the blog but after that we can either telephone each other to get our energy flowing or do some e-mail exchanges to do the same. I prefer talking. We may need to limit the time. Peace and God Bless. Love Pat
